NINAA is a feature rich Internet gateway designed specifically for the education market to address the needs of students and staff in regards to all their internal and external requirements.
Developed in consultation with UK schools, NINAA is a combined hardware and software solution, which is scalable from individual schools through to LEA level management. Depending on your bandwidth requirements, NINAA includes either ISDN, Leased Line or DSL connectivity and features; a mail server; a Web server for the School's intranet; unlimited virtual server web space and domain name registration; a proxy server for local filtering; a news server for local discussions within school together with a selection of pre-configured educational newsgroup and a chat server.
To ensure appropriate and productive Web access, NINAA also features Web content filtering made easy with green 'GO' and red 'STOP' lists (in partnership with N2H2), and robust firewall and security features to ensure that the school network remains a secure and productive environment for students and staff alike.
